Thank you for visiting my blog.  I’m Elisha your Madam Budget.  My goal is to help you take control of your finances without feeling like you’re doing a chore.  Eventually this should lead you on the road to make more money.

Keeping the lights on while putting food on the table and paying the rent have been struggles I have experienced raising a child on my own with little help.  Before this I never worried much about money and knowing how to save was always a skill I possessed.

I know how it feels to want more but not know how to get more.   When I became a single parent that’s when the financial woes began.

I had to change up my game or starve.

I read and listened to financial advisors.  I became a master at budgeting the cash I had on hand.  I have also worked in the banking industry for many many years and, this has helped my gain knowledge on how finances work in this country.

Soon not only was I able to handle all the house hold expenses and put food on the table and pay every bill in full but, I am now also the proud owner of my very first house.

 

About You

I am here to show you how to better manage, save and budget the money you are already making.   So you can have more money on hand with less worries.  Then you can start making more money in the near future if you choose too.  

Because, the better you manage your money more money is sure to follow.

Many Americans earn pretty decent salaries but have nothing to show for it at the end of the day, month or year. 

They are spending more than they are making and lack basic money management skills.  Once you’re on the road to better budgeting then you can elevate your finances to the next level.

Begin to grow your money vs. stressing about money.

I believe in helping others and paying it forward.  My friends and family constantly come to me with questions about credit, paying off debt or how to save without being tempted to spend every single last dime. 

I come across many people on a daily basis who struggle with some form of money management problem.

So I want to help.

It is possible for you to live comfortably on any salary and not be bogged down by dept.
